Oak Cultivar Scion Wood

$9.00

We have been selecting and collecting oaks for many years, and our grafts are finally beining to make nore wood then we need! It definitely takes a few years to get them to jump.. First year sleep, Second year creep, Third year leap!!

Most of these are selected for large fruit and/or big crops.

Some are selected for their low tannins- CDS#1,( I am coming to the conclusion that Ashworth and CDS#! are the synonymous) and Cobbs Sweetie #2.

“Quercus × bebbiana (or Quercus bebbiana), known as Bebb's oak, is a naturally occurring hybrid of white oak (Quercus alba) and burr oak (Quercus macrocarpa).” “A tree reaching 15 m, and available from specialty nurseries, its acorns are sweet enough to be palatable to humans.”
